The weakness was disclosed 11/11/2011 by Alexander with Kaspersky Lab (Website). The advisory is available at googlechromereleases.blogspot.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2011-2445 since 06/06/2011. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available. The structure of the vulnerability defines a possible price range of USD $0-$5k at the moment (estimation calculated on 03/19/2021). It is expected to see the exploit prices for this product increasing in the near future.
The vulnerability scanner Nessus provides a plugin with the ID 74525 (openSUSE Security Update : flash-player (openSUSE-2011-4)), which helps to determine the existence of the flaw in a target environment.
