with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in PHP-Daily allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) id parameter to (a) add_postit.php (b) delete.php, and (c) mod_prest_date.php; and the (2) prev parameter to (d) prest_detail.php.
The weakness was published 10/27/2008 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at milw0rm.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2008-4757 since 10/27/2008. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1505 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
A public exploit has been developed by 0xFFFFFF and been published even before and not after the advisory. The exploit is available at exploit-db.com. It is declared as highly functional. The vulnerability was handled as a non-public zero-day exploit for at least 3 days. During that time the estimated underground price was around $0-$5k. By approaching the search of inurl:add_postit.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
