The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in gallery/comment.php in Enhanced Simple PHP Gallery (ESPG) 1.72 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the file parameter. NOTE: the vulnerability may be in my little homepage Comment script. If so, then this should not be treated as a vulnerability in ESPG.
