Certificate Assistant in Apple Mac OS X 10.5.6 allows local users to overwrite arbitrary files via unknown vectors related to an "insecure file operation" on a temporary file.
The bug was discovered 02/12/2009. The weakness was presented 02/12/2009 by Clint Ruoho with Laconic Security (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com.
