The Expo plugin in Compiz Fusion 0.7.8 allows local users with physical access to drag the screen saver aside and access the locked desktop by using Expo mouse shortcuts, a related issue to CVE-2007-3920.

The bug was discovered 11/21/2008. The weakness was presented 03/24/2009 with Ubuntu (Website). The advisory is available at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2008-6514 since 03/24/2009. The exploitation is known to be difficult. Local access is required to approach this attack.
