A vulnerability was found in Ktools PhotoStore up to 3.5.2 and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown function of the file manager/image_details_editor.php. The manipulation of the argument id
with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. SQL injection vulnerability in manager/image_details_editor.php in Ktools PhotoStore 2.5, 2.9.8, 3.1.0, and other versions through 3.5.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the id parameter.
The weakness was shared 05/10/2008 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at milw0rm.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2008-6649 since 04/06/2009. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known.
