A vulnerability was found in Surat Kabar phpWebNews 0.2 and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown code block of the file index.php of the component MySQL. The manipulation of the argument id_kat
with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. SQL injection vulnerability in index.php in phpWebNews 0.2 MySQL Edition allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the id_kat parameter.
The weakness was presented 05/22/2009 by STORM (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at milw0rm.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2008-6813 since 05/21/2009. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1505 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
