A vulnerability was found in Campware.org Campsite 3.3.0 (Content Management System). It has been declared as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is some unknown processing of the file admin-files/ad.php. The manipulation of the argument GLOBALS[g_campsiteDir]
with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in admin-files/ad.php in Campsite 3.3.0 RC1 allows remote attackers to read and possibly execute arbitrary local files via a .. (dot dot) in the GLOBALS[g_campsiteDir] parameter.
