SQL injection vulnerability in the K2 (com_k2) component 1.0.1 Beta and earlier for Joomla! allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the category parameter in an itemlist action to index.php.

The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. It is declared as proof-of-concept. By approaching the search of inurl:index.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
