A vulnerability classified as critical was found in Interlogy Profile Manager (the affected version is unknown). This vulnerability affects an unknown code of the component Profile Manager. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in cgi/admin.cgi in Interlogy Profile Manager Basic allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via a pmadm cookie in (1) an edittemp action or (2) a users action.
The weakness was released 07/28/2009 (Website). The advisory is available at milw0rm.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2009-2640 since 07/28/2009. The exploitation appears to be easy.
