Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Hotel Booking Reservation System (aka HBS or com_hbssearch) component for Joomla! allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the adult parameter in a showhoteldetails action to index.php.
The weakness was shared 09/24/2009 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2009-3368 since 09/24/2009. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
