Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in the administrative console in the Security component in IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) 6.0.2 before 6.0.2.39, 6.1 before 6.1.0.29, and 7.0 before 7.0.0.7 allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators via unspecified vectors.

The weakness was released 11/16/2009 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at www-01.ibm.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2009-2746. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available.
