A vulnerability was found in Apple Safari (Web Browser) (the affected version unknown). It has been classified as problematic. Affected is an unknown part. The manipulation of the argument HREF
with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality. CVE summarizes:
Apple Safari allows remote attackers to discover a redirect s target URL, for the session of a specific user of a web site, by placing the site s URL in the HREF attribute of a stylesheet LINK element, and then reading the document.styleSheets[0].href property value.
