Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in HP System Management Homepage (SMH) 6.2.2.7 allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that create administrative accounts.

The weakness was presented 04/16/2012 by Sow Ching Shiong (Website) via Secunia. The advisory is shared for download at h20000.www2.hp.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2011-3846 since 09/26/2011. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available.
