The bug was discovered 04/27/2012. The weakness was released 04/27/2012 by Senator of Pirates as File 112295/Nok (Packetstorm). The advisory is available at packetstormsecurity.org. The vendor was not involved in the coordination of the public release. This vulnerability was named CVE-2012-2442 since 04/30/2012. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
