Directory traversal vulnerability in the JE Ajax Event Calendar (com_jeajaxeventcalendar) component 1.0.1 and 1.0.3 for Joomla! allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the view parameter to index.php. NOTE: some of these details are obtained from third party information.

The bug was discovered 05/14/2010. The weakness was disclosed 05/14/2010 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at exploit-db.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2010-2129 since 06/01/2010. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1006.
