Adobe Flash Player before 9.0.277.0 and 10.x before 10.1.53.64, and Adobe AIR before 2.0.2.12610, when used in conjunction with VMWare Tools on a VMWare platform, allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption) or possibly execute arbitrary code via unspecified vectors.

The weakness was disclosed 06/15/2010 by Haifei Li with Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs (Website). The advisory is shared at us-cert.gov. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2010-2189. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. The price for an exploit might be around USD $0-$5k at the moment (estimation calculated on 09/16/2021). It is expected to see the exploit prices for this product decreasing in the near future.
