The weakness was disclosed 01/13/2011 by SilentSignal with TippingPoint's Zero Day Initiative (Website). The advisory is shared for download at xforce.iss.net. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2011-0266. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Technical details and a public exploit are known. The current price for an exploit might be approx. USD $0-$5k (estimation calculated on 04/03/2017).

A public exploit has been developed in Ruby. It is declared as highly functional. The exploit is shared for download at securityfocus.com.
