Passlogix v-GO Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) and OEM before 7.0A allows physically proximate attackers to execute arbitrary programs without authentication by triggering use of an invalid SSL certificate and using the Internet Explorer interface to navigate through the filesystem via a "Save As" dialog that is reachable from the "Certificate Export" wizard.
The weakness was presented 02/07/2011 by Trustwave's SpiderLabs with Trustwave's SpiderLabs (Website). The advisory is shared at trustwave.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2010-4506 since 12/08/2010. The exploitation appears to be difficult. An attack has to be approached locally. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1600 for this issue.
