The PDF functionality in Google Chrome before 20.0.1132.57 does not properly handle JavaScript code, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (incorrect object access) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted document.
The weakness was shared 07/11/2012 by Alexey Samsonov (miaubiz) with Google as 20.0.1132.57 as confirmed changelog entry (Website). This vulnerability is known as CVE-2012-2844 since 05/19/2012. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
