Buffer overflow in the JavaScript engine in Mozilla Firefox before 3.5.17 and 3.6.x before 3.6.14, and SeaMonkey before 2.0.12, might allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via vectors involving exception timing and a large number of string values, aka an "atom map" issue.
The weakness was shared 03/02/2011 by Christian Holler as Bug 622015 as not defined bug report (Bugzilla). The advisory is shared for download at bugzilla.mozilla.org. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2011-0056 since 12/21/2010. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Upgrading to version 1.0.9 eliminates this vulnerability.
