solid.exe in IBM solidDB before 4.5.181, 6.0.x before 6.0.1067, 6.1.x and 6.3.x before 6.3.47, and 6.5.x before 6.5.0.3 uses a password-hash length specified by the client, which allows remote attackers to bypass authentication via a short length value.
The weakness was disclosed 04/01/2011 by Tenable Network Security with Tenable Network Security (Website). The advisory is available at xforce.iss.net. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2011-1560. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. This vulnerability is assigned to T1552 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
