The Program::getActiveUniformMaxLength function in libGLESv2/Program.cpp in libGLESv2.dll in the WebGLES library in Almost Native Graphics Layer Engine (ANGLE), as used in Mozilla Firefox 4.x before 4.0.1 on Windows and in the GPU process in Google Chrome before 10.0.648.205 on Windows, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via unspecified vectors, related to an "off-by-three" error.

The weakness was released 04/15/2011 by Christoph Diehl (Inferno) with Google Chrome Security Team as Bug 623791 as not defined bug report (Bugzilla). The advisory is available at bugzilla.mozilla.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2011-1300. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. The structure of the vulnerability defines a possible price range of USD $0-$5k at the moment (estimation calculated on 11/02/2021). It is expected to see the exploit prices for this product increasing in the near future.
