A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Oracle Application Server up to 9.0.3.1 (Application Server Software). Affected by this issue is an unknown code of the component Single Sign-On. The manipulation of the argument p_submit_url
with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
The p_submit_url value in the sample login form in the Oracle 9i Application Server (9iAS) Single Sign-on Administrators Guide, Release 2(9.0.2) for Oracle SSO allows remote attackers to spoof the login page, which could allow users to inadvertently reveal their username and password.
