SQL injection vulnerability in forget.php in the management GUI in Symantec Web Gateway 4.5.x allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the username parameter.

The weakness was shared 07/11/2011 with TippingPoint (Website). The advisory is shared for download at xforce.iss.net. This vulnerability was named CVE-2011-0549. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
