Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in agentDetect.jsp in the web UI in IBM WebSphere Service Registry and Repository (WSRR) 6.3 before 6.3.0.5, 7.0 before 7.0.0.5, and 7.5 before 7.5.0.1 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the User-Agent HTTP header.
The weakness was released 08/11/2011 (Website). The advisory is shared at xforce.iss.net. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2011-1357. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available.
