The Blueberry FlashBack ActiveX control in BB FlashBack Recorder.dll in Blueberry BB FlashBack, as used in IBM Rational Rhapsody before 7.6.1 and other products, does not properly implement the InsertMarker method, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via unspecified vectors.

The weakness was shared 12/23/2011 (Website). The advisory is shared at www-01.ibm.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2011-1391 since 03/10/2011. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available.
