Directory traversal vulnerability in catalogue_file.php in ocPortal before 7.1.6 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the file parameter.
The weakness was published 10/01/2012 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at ocportal.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2012-1471 since 02/29/2012. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
