of the file svnlook.php. The manipulation of the argument path
with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-79. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the getLog function in svnlook.php in WebSVN before 2.3.1 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the path parameter to (1) comp.php, (2) diff.php, or (3) revision.php.
The weakness was shared 10/25/2012 with Sony (Website). The advisory is shared at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2011-5221 since 10/25/2012. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
