Vino, possibly before 3.2, does not properly document that it opens ports in UPnP routers when the "Configure network to automatically accept connections" setting is enabled, which might make it easier for remote attackers to perform further attacks.

The weakness was presented 03/12/2013 as confirmed git commit (GIT Repository). The advisory is available at git.gnome.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2011-1165 since 03/03/2011. The exploitability is told to be difficult. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
