Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the WebAccess component in Novell GroupWise 8.0 before Support Pack 3 and 2012 before Support Pack 1 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a crafted signature in an HTML e-mail message.
The weakness was released 09/21/2012 by Joshua Tiago with Secunia (Website). The advisory is shared at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2012-4912 since 09/14/2012. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
