The mpegts_write_pmt function in the MPEG2 transport stream (aka DVB) muxer (libavformat/mpegtsenc.c) in FFmpeg, possibly 2.1 and earlier, allows remote attackers to have unspecified impact and vectors, which trigger an out-of-bounds write.
The issue has been introduced in 07/11/2013. The weakness was presented 02/28/2014 as confirmed git commit (GIT Repository). The advisory is shared for download at git.videolan.org. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-2263 since 02/28/2014. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
