repository/alfresco/lib.php in Moodle through 2.3.11, 2.4.x before 2.4.9, 2.5.x before 2.5.5, and 2.6.x before 2.6.2 places a session key in a URL, which allows remote attackers to bypass intended Alfresco Repository file restrictions by impersonating a file s owner.
The weakness was presented 03/24/2014 by ryan (Website). The advisory is shared at moodle.org. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2014-0125 since 12/03/2013. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 121953 (Fedora Security Update for Moodle (FEDORA-2014-4163, FEDORA-2014-4152)).
