No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.

The vulnerability scanner Nessus provides a plugin with the ID 82632 (GLSA-201504-01 : Mozilla Products: Multiple vulnerabilities), which helps to determine the existence of the flaw in a target environment. It is assigned to the family Gentoo Local Security Checks. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 195604 (Ubuntu Security Notification for Firefox Vulnerabilities (USN-2329-1)).
