It is assigned to the family FreeBSD Local Security Checks. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 13026 (phpMyAdmin micro history Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability (PMASA-2014-10)).

Upgrading to version 4.0.10.3, 4.1.14.4 or 4.2.8.1 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
