The vulnerability scanner Nessus provides a plugin with the ID 81873 (Oracle Linux 5 / 6 : Unbreakable Enterprise kernel (ELSA-2015-3015)), which helps to determine the existence of the flaw in a target environment. It is assigned to the family Oracle Linux Local Security Checks. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 157062 (Oracle Enterprise Linux Security Update for Unbreakable Enterprise kernel (ELSA-2015-3013)).

Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at git.kernel.org.
