CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in Mozilla Firefox 33.0 (Web Browser). Affected is an unknown code of the component Content Security Policy Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a information management vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-199. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality. CVE summarizes:

Mozilla Firefox 33.0 and SeaMonkey before 2.31 include path strings in CSP violation reports, which allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information via a web site that receives a report after a redirect.

The weakness was published 12/02/2014 by Muneaki Nishimura as mfsa2014-86 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is available at mozilla.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2014-1591 since 01/16/2014. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1592 by the MITRE ATT&CK project. The advisory points out:

Security researcher Muneaki Nishimura discovered that Content Security Policy (CSP) violation reports triggered by a redirect did not remove path information as required by the CSP specification. This potentially reveals information about the redirect that would not otherwise be known to the original site. This could be used by a malicious site to obtain sensitive information such as usernames or single-sign-on tokens encoded within the target URLs.

The vulnerability scanner Nessus provides a plugin with the ID 79707 (FreeBSD : mozilla -- multiple vulnerabilities (7ae61870-9dd2-4884-a2f2-f19bb5784d09)), which helps to determine the existence of the flaw in a target environment. It is assigned to the family FreeBSD Local Security Checks. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 195686 (Ubuntu Security Notification for Firefox Vulnerabilities (USN-2424-1)).

Upgrading to version 34 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.

The vulnerability is also documented in the databases at X-Force (99063) and Tenable (79707). Further details are available at bugzilla.mozilla.org. Similar entries are available at 68306, 68307, 68308 and 68309.
