Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in the Contextual Related Posts plugin before 1.8.7 for WordPress allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks via unspecified vectors.
The weakness was shared 06/02/2014 by Charlie Eriksen (Website). The advisory is available at wordpress.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2013-2710 since 03/26/2013. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
