Directory traversal vulnerability in the JobScheduler Operations Center (JOC) in SOS JobScheduler before 1.6.4246 and 1.7.x before 1.7.4241 allows remote authenticated users with the info permission to read arbitrary files in the webroot via unspecified vectors.

The weakness was presented 09/11/2014 (Website). The advisory is shared at change.sos-berlin.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-5393 since 08/22/2014. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. A simple authentication is required for exploitation. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1006 for this issue.

Upgrading to version 1.6.4131 eliminates this vulnerability.
