Citrix XenDesktop Virtual Desktop Agent (VDA) 5.6.x before 5.6.200, when making changes to the server-side policy that control USB redirection, does not propagate changes to the VDA, which allows authenticated users to retain access to the USB device.

The weakness was disclosed 12/11/2012 by Agent as CTX135813 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is available at support.citrix.com. The public release has been coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability was named CVE-2012-6314 since 12/06/2012. Local access is required to approach this attack. The successful exploitation needs a single authentication. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1211 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
