Zarafa WebAccess 4.1 and WebApp uses world-readable permissions for the files in their tmp directory, which allows local users to obtain sensitive information by reading temporary session data.

The weakness was disclosed 10/20/2014 (Website). The advisory is available at xforce.iss.net. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-5449 since 08/25/2014. The exploitation is known to be easy. Local access is required to approach this attack. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1592 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.

It is assigned to the family Fedora Local Security Checks.
