Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in the WP Google Maps plugin before 6.0.27 for WordPress allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the poly_id parameter in an (1) edit_poly, (2) edit_polyline, or (3) edit_marker action in the wp-google-maps-menu page to wp-admin/admin.php.
The weakness was disclosed 10/22/2014 (Website). The advisory is shared at wordpress.org. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-7182 since 09/25/2014. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
Upgrading to version 6.0.10 eliminates this vulnerability.
