The mmfslinux kernel module in IBM General Parallel File System (GPFS) 3.4 before 3.4.0.32, 3.5 before 3.5.0.24, and 4.1 before 4.1.0.7 allows local users to cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via unspecified character-device ioctl calls.
The weakness was disclosed 03/23/2015 by Felix Wilhelm with ERNW (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at www-01.ibm.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2015-0199 since 11/18/2014. The exploitation appears to be easy. Attacking locally is a requirement. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
