Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1592 for this issue.
The vulnerability scanner Nessus provides a plugin with the ID 83389 (FreeBSD : mozilla -- multiple vulnerabilities (d9b43004-f5fd-4807-b1d7-dbf66455b244)), which helps to determine the existence of the flaw in a target environment. It is assigned to the family FreeBSD Local Security Checks. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 167833 (OpenSuSE Security Update for MozillaFirefox (openSUSE-SU-2015:0934-1)).
Upgrading to version 38 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
