The WebUI component in Blue Coat SSL Visibility Appliance SV800, SV1800, SV2800, and SV3800 3.6.x through 3.8.x before 3.8.4 does not set the secure flag for the administrator's cookie in an https session, which makes it easier for remote attackers to capture this cookie by intercepting its transmission within an http session, a different vulnerability than CVE-2015-4138.

The weakness was disclosed 05/30/2015 by FiSh with FishNet Security (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at kb.cert.org. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2015-2855 since 04/03/2015. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not publicly available. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1592 according to MITRE ATT&CK.

Upgrading to version 3.8.4 eliminates this vulnerability.
