SysAid Help Desk before 15.2 uses a hardcoded password of Password1 for the sa SQL Server Express user account, which allows remote authenticated users to bypass intended access restrictions by leveraging knowledge of this password.

The weakness was disclosed 06/08/2015 by Pedro Ribeiro (Website). The advisory is available at sysaid.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2015-3001 since 04/07/2015. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details and also a public exploit are known. This vulnerability is assigned to T1552 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
