The weakness was disclosed 02/05/2013 by Larry W. Cashdollar as 120087 as confirmed posting (Packetstorm). It is possible to read the advisory at packetstormsecurity.com. The vendor was not involved in the public release. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2013-1495 since 01/30/2013. Attacking locally is a requirement. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known.

After immediately, there has been an exploit disclosed. It is declared as proof-of-concept. We expect the 0-day to have been worth approximately $25k-$100k.

Upgrading to version 4.3.2 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published 2 months after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
