A vulnerability was found in Mozilla Firefox up to 0.9.2 (Web Browser). It has been rated as critical. This issue affects the function document.close of the component Certificate Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a race condition vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-362. The bug was discovered 08/03/2004. The weakness was presented 07/26/2004 by Emmanouel Kellinis with Cipher.org (Website). The advisory is shared at cipher.org.uk. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2004-0761 since 08/02/2004. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
