This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2015-7109 since 09/16/2015. The exploitability is told to be difficult. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. A memory corruption issue existed in IOAcceleratorFamily. This issue was addressed through improved memory handling.
