EMC Documentum xCP 2.1 before patch 23 and 2.2 before patch 11 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files via a POST request containing an XML external entity declaration in conjunction with an entity reference, related to an XML External Entity (XXE) issue.

The weakness was disclosed 02/12/2016 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at seclists.org. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2016-0882 since 12/16/2015. The attack may be initiated remotely. The successful exploitation requires a simple authentication. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not publicly available.
